Consultancy Our consultancy services are available to provide advice, support and assistance on all aspects of Health & Safety, First Aid and Fire. This service provides a cost effective solution to areas of your business that you wish to minimise risk in, whilst complying with legislation. Health and Safety The effective management of Health and Safety in the workplace is the key to eliminating or reducing hazards so that people are not injured, killed or affected by illness or disease whilst at work. Every year the Health and Safety regulations become more complex and it is difficult for employers to keep up-to-date with the latest legislation. We can assist you with the formation and review of your Health and safety policy, support you with your health and safety risk assessments; provide health and safety training and carry out health and safety inspections or audits to benchmark your business's progress. Fire Regulations New fire laws place an increasing emphasis on your legal duty to carry out formal fire risk assessments. The Fire authorities as of October will revoke all fire certificates and the main emphasis for them will be to inspect business locations to ensure they are abiding by the new Legislation. In the event of a serious fire incident, prosecution proceedings could be brought against those found to have carried out an insufficient Fire Risk Assessment particularly if Fire Rescue personnel are injured while attending an incident. HS&S’s new Fire Risk Assessment service has been designed with the guidance of The Institute of Fire Engineers, specifically to help you comply with these new laws, whilst also prioritising areas for future attention. It is our intention to make this service as cost effective as possible whilst giving the client the highest standards.
The Assessment will be delivered in both written and electronic format, which can be easily accessed and understood by all, particularly useful for the busy executive. A follow on service will then be offered in the form of Fire Plan and training of staff in Marshalling and evacuation. Note: Recent litigation, as well as forthcoming legislative change, makes the responsibility for safety in the event of fire clear. Landlords, occupiers, and managers must ensure that Fire Risk Assessments are as comprehensive and up-to-date as possible, in order to prevent incidents occurring. According to the Fire Protection Association, 77% of businesses experiencing a major fire never fully recover. ttp://www.firesafetyguides.communities.gov.uk We pride ourselves in maintaining a modest price structure in order to ensure that these services remain accessible to smaller organisations as well as to our larger client base.
